Our Process

Initial Conversation

The first step is an initial conversation, usually held over the phone.  We’ll learn more about you, your project and your project goals, to help determine whether we are a good fit.

In-Person Meeting

The next step is an in-person meeting at the proposed jobsite.  We’ll establish a project scope, delve deeper into the design details, and discuss a rough budget and schedule.

Thorough Cost Estimate

If we are able to align on all of the above, the next step is a thorough cost estimate.  We will determine material, labor and permitting costs, and collect quotes from subcontractors as well as conduct subcontractor walk-throughs as necessary.  

A modest down deposit is required for this service, which varies depending on the size and scope of your project.

Construction Contract

After completing the cost estimate, we will review it together and finalize project scope and budget.  With those details finalized, we will draw up a construction contract for our mutual signature.

Start Construction!

This is when the fun really begins. We’re ready to start the project!  We’ll provide you with a project schedule, and conduct weekly meetings to keep you informed and in the loop for the duration of construction.
