About Aura Construction
Aura Construction is a General Contractor based out of Portland, Oregon. Our mission and purpose is to enrich the lives of our clients through crafting beautiful, natural spaces, designed specifically for their needs and lifestyle.
In addition, our priority during the planning and construction phases is an excellent client experience. This is achieved through clear communication, weekly meetings, a well-organized schedule and job-site, and transparency throughout the project.
It is our intention to build a team that communicates and works together toward these goals, from client, contractor and architect, to our carpenters and trade partners. Our ability to work as a team is directly related to the success of the project.
The Team
Hey! I'm Tim Knowlton, the owner of Aura Construction. I am a contractor and carpenter with over a decade of experience in the trades.
I am passionate about craftsmanship, modern and Japanese design, natural materials, and sustainable building practices. In addition, one of my favorite things about the work I do is connecting with other like-minded individuals, whether they are clients, design professionals, or trade partners.
When I'm not working, I like to spend my time making music, studying the Japanese language, kicking a soccer ball around, and hanging out with my lovely wife and son, Corinne and River.
